Thanks Carol, I'm glad Bo had a great weekend. I was occupied so really didn't get to watch all of the ASG, no great loss. |

Thanks Carol!
Isnt high blocker-side already Bo's go-to breakaway move? That was my first thought when I saw it happen.
Missed the final game but followed most of the first two. Seemed to lack the intensity of last year but still a decent showing for an ASG |

So, in other words you didn't miss anything.
That photo was the best part of the ASG. |

Yeah, without Patrice Bergeron's back-checking, the intensity wasn't the same this year.
It was pretty amazing to see Ovi trying to block shots from Bo's line, though! |

Thanks as always Carol.
Missed the Bettman all-star classic due to watching paint dry in the basement...literally.
I'm thinking we could be looking at a 5 win February...thoughts?

I think with a little puck luck, we could be a .500 team for the remainder of the season. 10% chance that gets us into playoffs. |

Yeah 4 or 5, but I think the loser pts will carry this team through the month, March on the other hand |

I don't mind either way. If we lose we get a higher pick if we win we get to see more Canucks . Sort of a win win |

Glad Bo did well.... does this means we get to see him more at 3v3 and shootouts?
Probably not |
|
|

I know it was a no contact game but I hope WD noticed Bo with skilled players. Maybe on the 3 on 3 Bo Stecher and Granlund |

Hansen also seems like a good fit (for Granny) when healthy.
Is that his nickname, Granny? Should be. |

Pardon my French but "HOLY SH!T" could the CBC announcer get more excited and animated when 'Johnny Hockey' was just on the ice. He was going full-CBC-boner. Was it Cuthburt? I mean EVERY BLESSED TIME!!! |

I wouldn't mind squeezing into the playoffs as the lowest point total and getting 15OA. We will likely be between 11-14 if we miss and do not win the lotto. I don't think a few spots means much this year from 10-20. At that range Defense is probably best to draft. |

Ferland, Bouma and two seconds is slightly more reasonable. |

Am I the only 1 that sees a perfect deal with DAL shaping up?
Miller and Hansen for Niemi, Hemsky a high pick (1st or 2nd rd), and the rights to Nichushkin...I know Nichushkin has attitude issues but give him a year or 2 he may come around. Showed flashes in DAL.
DAL gets a more reliable goalie for a playoff run, and a much more effective point getter at this stage of his career and more speed to keep up with Benn and Seguin. Their window is about to slam shut on them so it's now or never...
We take salary for a year (Niemi) and get another high pick (that hopefully Benning won't waste) and a potential power forward who can pop in 20 - 25 goals. After next year Demko will probably be close to ready anyways, so Markstrom/Niemi tandem for 1 year... |

Nope.
Various versions of this trade have been bandied about for the past year.
I think expecting a 1st plus Nichushkin might be asking a bit much tho.
I thought Miller for Niemi/Nuchuskin was fair.
Hansen for a 2nd also seems fair.
