Maybe because +/- is a garbage stat which is completely useless in terms of defensive play. Simmonds is -15. How often has Simmonds been out when the Flyers have the extra attacker out and get scored on? He is out there every time they pull the goalie. He gets a minus any time Neurvirth or MAson let in a weak goal which has been often. What about when other players make mistakes? If he is on the ice he gets that minus. Plus minus is not a real stat and should never be used to identify a players worth.

What an annoying RR main event.. They could have ended with the Cena v Styles match and it would have been great..

Last year you had the Styles debut..
Only 3 spots left and 2 of them are Goldberg and the Undertaker.

Hoping the last is Angle , Nakamura, SJ or Finn Balor..

Players talk all the time about how much they care about their +/-, so it's definitely one of the more important stats in hockey. Disagree with me, fine. But then you're disagreeing with NHL players too. And I think they know a lot more than both of us. You're probably one of those Corsi people, but I care about goals. You win games by having a good +/-.

They definitely captured Kane's creepiness.

Laine is a Conehead. I was trying to pick out which ones are the creepiest too haha. Dubnyk for sure. He looks like Mackey with a wig and no glasses. Price's cheeks are disturbing. And they really nailed Matthews's pig nose. Toews and Atkinson and Hall are all up for NHL version of Team America Matt Damon. They look inbred.

If there were less Canadians (not like 70% of the lineup) it would've been funny to do them in the South Park style.

Have you been dropped on your head? Players caring about the stat and the stat being important to judge how good a player is are two completely different things. No I do not care for Corsi because Hockey cant be broken down to simple numbers. Myself as a player care about having a good +/- but it is out of my hands. As good as I am defensively not every goal against when I am on is my fault. If I make a mistake I know that is my fault but I described fairly common scenarios where +/- has proven to not tell the full story. Apparently Faulk, Duchene, MAckinnon, Larkin, Monahan Hamonic, Seguin Giroux and Landeskog suck too. They are all minus players.

+/- is far from simple. If you think it's simple that's just because you don't understand its nuances. Would you like some links to further educate yourself?

If that's what the +/- says, then yes. I cannot say you are doing well or having a good season if your +/- isn't positive. It means you're not helping the team win. Giroux for example is very often in the minus and actively hurts the team. I wish this were not so, but it is so.

+ / - means something to me. Like when the legion of doom was perennially top of the league. Go out and kick ass at 5 v 5 and our top scorers won't be -15's from being behind in games. its not the end all be all. But it's not flawed either

I thought the Rumble itself was good, not great, but I was pretty surprised to see Orton win. Not sure where they are going with that. I thought that the Styles/Cena match was fantastic and Owens/Reigns was good.
