whoa, let's not rush to hasty conclusions. I'm not sold this team has turned a corner, I'm just barely allowing myself to consider the possibility that they might make the playoffs if they continue to play like this. Roster still has massive holes that need fixing.

Dan, 10000% agree with you when you say Garth is afraid to make a trade, where he has to use a good player or prospect in the deal

It's still a long shot, but there is a chance now that Crappy is gone.

quote=Jethro09]Bailey has shut a lot of people up. Myself included. He's been very good this year. Playing with JT and shooting the puck more has had a lot to do with it. I'm glad he's having the season that he is. Its long overdue.
I'll say this our first line has been dominate and it's all three guys even Bailey is shooting they had 17 shots last night. I wouldn't break that line up for anything right now and jt likes playing with Josh. They are a threat to score everytime they're out. As far as moulson scoring more than Josh well Matt's more like Lee good in front picks up the garbage and has great hand eye for tips and redirects. Josh is more of a passer set up guy and he does lead the team in assists and is set to crush his high in points. Now if they can get Eberle or someone that's better with jt then I think Josh moves off the line as Lee has earned his spot and his net front presence is a must but for now Bailey gets my vote to stay. As for Ladd last night was his best game but not because he scored he was noticeable he hit guys made plays created and did what we hope he can continue to do. If he can get it together now that chimera has we have 3 lines that can score well the 18 72 29 line could improve but this team can roll 4 lines that can all pressure and take away time and space and that's how this team plays when it's winning.

10 years as GM and he is still afraid to trade. He was also afraid to fire Cappy sooner and it was probably Ledecky who fired him.

Can Garth not be afraid of something like snakes instead?

Geez, how long have you been holding that in?

I love the Bailey double standard:

Ladd 10 goals (43 games) - "He sucks! It was a horrible signing!"
Bailey 8 goals (47 games) - "He's playing great!"
Ladd not playing physical - "He sucks! Throw a hit!"
Bailey not playing physical - "Hey did you see that! Josh threw a hit! Yeah! I hope he throws another one this season!"
Ladd on JT's wing - "He's not getting it done! We need a better player for JT!"
Bailey on JT's wing - ... silence

The guys sucks. He's on pace to have 10-15 goals this year, just like every other year. He has no business being on any first line. JT's numbers are lower at than they have been in past seasons. I doubt anyone is blaming Lee for that. Let's say through some divine intervention Snow lands a top line winger - who would you take off that line, Bailey or Lee? If you say Lee I will pay the airfare for Schwein to fly here and slap you.

I don't want to hear a single defense of Bailey unless the post starts with "Bailey is a career 15 goal scorer and I think it's great that he's on JT's wing". After that you can praise Bailey all you want.

Very solid points Jimmy.

Just think that Ladd has 10 goals with a bad back and not playing on JT's line. I get Ladd's contract is way too long.

He (frank)ing blows. I'd literally put just about anyone else on that line. Bailey offers zero defense, very little offense, and literally nothing else. He has 8 (frank)ing goals playing on the first line pretty much the whole season so far and please save that "set up man" bullshat for someone else .

This scrub has a couple decent games and the same people say the same shat. never ends. If you put him another line he'd just be worse.

Is the line playing good? Are they a threat evevy time out? I'm not a Bailey guy I said if they get someone in a trade see ya josh. Also jt likes playing with him so he's there. Jts numbers were down because he was playing like crap on his own the first 30 games and looked nothing like he does now. When jt plays like this Kuhlamin can be his winger hell Boulton can.

This rebuts the whole Bailey is playing great argument.

I have not heard anything to suggest that JT want's Bailey on his wing. I don't think I've ever heard him comment on his line mates outside the normal platitudes. If he has please send me the link. I don't mean that in a douchy way - I really would like to read the quote.

Quine, Strome, Prince Chimera, haven't we seen that shat show before Cpt.
That said don't get more wrong Bailey has made me pull the hairs out of my head for ever with his lack of effort etc. however he has played better ( not great, easy ) this year and I'm going to go out on a ledge here and say JT has no problem with Bailey on his wing vs the chumps mentioned before because he's been there all year.

You can yell and say whatever you want but he's on pace for his best year. I said he's a set up guy because he's sure not a (frank)ing shooter. I also said Lee scores cause he's big strong goes to the net and has great hand eye also said hes earned his spot on the line and Bailey goes if garth can pull a trade. I'm no Bailey advocate but the line is playing well and shouldn't be broken up the way they are playing. And set up man is Bullpoop huh? He leads the team in assists which basically points to him being a set up man and he doesn't score. Some guys can do both like jt but he's a passer. Is he a wussy? Sure is. Should he work harder in the defensive zone? Absolutely. Is the line dominating play the last 8 games? Yup so for now he stays. I will be happy when he's not on the first line too but right now it works

The Isles will hold their own destiny in their hands. They have games in hand on almost everyone they need to pass. If they win their divisional and conference games against those teams in regulation and if the Isles can avoid giving away loser points to teams they're competing for a wild card with, they can still make the playoffs. They just can't lose points of any kind to the teams they're competing for a wild card spot with.

He's said it in post game interviews with Shannon. Jt has said it a bunch how smart he is and the likes. I don't think he is but if 91 is happy then

When John is off he's off and when on he's great but I think it's his own play to start not bailey's that's hurt him. If Bailey is and anchor then so is Lee correct? I wouldn't mind Eberle on that lone. Also if you read the original post it was about the line playing well and said even Bailey. I also said Moulson was more like Lee which is why he scores more and Bailey is a passer. Furthermore it says he should go if garth can make a trade not sure how that makes me Josh's dad

He has said it a couple times on post game interviews. Again would he rather have a better RWer on his line probably but out of the dog shat he has to choose from Bailey is who has won the spot. Again he's been there since the seasons start.
