Ty Anderson: Miller defensemen set to return as Bruins host Wings
- tyanderson

all this has been covered and discussed.

let's talk about the front office being embarrassingly quiet on the whole matter? what's going with neely and sweeney?
how about Julien's job status?
how about shaking up the roster?

no blogs for several days and then none of that gets talked about?

Its no offense to Ty, but I dont even read his stuff on here much anymore. You can tell his passion is with the other articles.

Sweeney and Neely are drinking scotch, smoking cigars, and cashing paychecks.

You need to remember that Sweeny is like HA... Both require a lot of alcohol and understanding to deal with.

Have definitely been catching your blogs on WEEI.com and enjoying them.

The only reason i come over to HB anymore it to see what DoTheDougie and GloveWasStuck are up to.

Oh the usual, putting my sarcasm and cynicism on full display with a bottle of jack in hand. Letting the 'glass half full' crowd know that it doesn't matter how full the glass is when you fill it with piss.

ok so, watching the Hot Mess as I always do and trying to figure out realistically WTF is going on with this group, Management-Coaches-Players
Players are working their tails off 99% of the time, Coaches are doing what the think is right, but it's just Not working what is it
The Team is still in Transition and looks completely lost, not because of effort, not solely because of on ice talent (idk border-line), Say what you will about Cload, he's a system coach and if his system is not followed it doesn't work, his resume speaks for itself, Cload will be fine, The only way to fire Cload is to have Neely back it up, Neely should finish off the Season as Head Coach, get a good look at these players when they come back to the bench after coughing up another puck and losing another corner battle. Sometimes I think they just need a good Slug Fest, but really, say for #54 and maybe #86 who else is going to do it. so then I think they need to play Nasty but really other than Marshy, who else is capable Nobody is
They are just a Team without direction changing game to game Their Big Salary Center #46 is a "slow the game down" type of Player who needs big plotting wings to play with, however we are told they want to play up-Tempo. our Defensive system right now is a "give the puck away" system with a brutal turnover at least every other shift. It's just a Total Breakdown of a Team from the Top on down, and Tuukka has to play absolutely Perfect for them to have any chance winning games against the worst teams in the league.
They need to start somewhere, but pick a direction, pick a system to follow and pick some young talent with the High draft pick you should have this coming draft because this Team is not good period.

When a building is flawed, I tend to blame the architect on the design and implementation, not the materials used for the build.

Who do you blame when your team has some of the best underlying numbers?

That's All BS in my opinion
Why is it when a goaltender plays against the Bruins he usually ends up with a career high in saves.
The bruins routinely shoot from the blueline with no screen in front of the goalie and no traffic in the path of the puck. No goalie other than Subban gives up goals like that

Everyone knows the saying "no shot is a bad shot" but I think the Bruins buck the trend here

Tanner.

Underlying numbers are great and all, but when you are just not winning games, they really arent that useful. People say its 'unsustainable based on their possession numbers', well if that is true the ship should right itself and the bruins are due for a 20 game win streak here soon........but I wont hold my breath.

That's the million dollar question right there. It seems lately the B's come out flying and outshoot the opponent by a wide margin in the first, but are unable to score more than once. Then, as soon as the other team scores, they collectively poop their pants and start playing like garbage. This team lacks swagger, they don't seem to believe in themselves
