Interesting, all these advanced stats yet the Hawks just keep winning

The Hawks need to use the Winning Ugly slogan like the Sox did years ago.

The one thing that happens with parity, seeing it in the NFL, beginning to see it in the NHL, lots of ugly, sloppy, guys who shouldn't even be on the ice brand of hockey.

And I thought Kempny was fine last night until he got called for a bs penalty. Then the second goal happened because Kempny didn't want to get another penalty so he was very timid with Bo

Having a Vezina caliber goaltender usually masks a lot of deficiencies. Ask the Rangers, they know all about that.

Anyone notice on Van's 2nd goal, the new tactic that is being used? Seabs was tripped/interfered with by the guy who was lying on the ice. When are the refs going to wake up and start calling this?

Lately, that hasn't been the case. Crow has struggled. That Darling tho.

Glad to see the captian trending up. In the first half of the Boston game, his line was the only one who could sustain any pressure, and that's with Hartman and Panik.

Would you say he's been quite the darling, recently.

Because words...you know.

Miller blasting the quality of the UC ice last night. Warm weather the last few days probably didn't help.

Was it unusually bad? Or is it always bad?

I've come to believe the Hawks philosophy is you can't stop every shot on goal, but you can dictate where the shots come from.

When the Hawks win, tie or are in a very close game's typically the Hawks shut down the Royal road. Keep everything to one side of the ice, so if the guy wants to take a shot from the blue line, yep typically it gets through but rarely do they score.

For how long? I remember the end of October and November, dude was lights out, standing on his head. Did he get hurt or somethin?

Appendectomy, missed a few weeks, been okay but the defense hasn't been the same since the circus trip

I'd rather the Blackhawks make a move sooner than later. Need some time to develop some chemistry.

A little too early to be on the captain comeback wagon parade but a better performance indeed.

Let's hope he keeps it up as having Toews at his best can only make the team better.

Ice isn't bad for just 1 team. Poor timing for Miller to start yapping away about ice conditions after a late goal against.

Glad to see the Captain get reward for all his hard work with some points , since that is very important to some people . Vancouver and Miller himself have been rather hot of late , and playing some desperate hockey of late .So it was a quality win .

I believe the HAWKS will be rather quiet on the trade market like they were in the summer , unless something very cheap falls in their lap as Campbell did in the summer . Iginla or Stone could fit in that scenario GO HAWKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
