17 points in 201 games - that's a torrid pace alright. I'm amazed he hasn't been moved yet.

Please make me understand, if Kane is scoring goal on a team that has GREAT difficulty scoring goals, why would you trade him? Imagine how much worse the Sabres would actually suck if they did not have Kane. |

Eggzactly. Past few years any player that is scoring , fans want to trade him cause his value is high Trade him for what ? Draft picks ? Keep him. Would cost more to replace those goals . |

This kid Troy Stecher might be worth looking into for Kane.

Thats not bad for a kid just out of college.
"Highly skilled two-way defenceman that displays tremendous poise with and without the puck. Soft hands that can pass as well as let rockets fly. Excellent vision and a playmaker's knack for the game. Very aware and responsible defensively, but is not comfortable having the puck in his own end for too long and will take it upon himself to get the puck out of the defensive zone. His impact upon the game occurs at both ends of the ice as an offensive and defensive force. [EP]"

If they also throw in someone like Cole Cassels who looks like a 3rd line center. You might have a deal If Van also soured on Jake Virtanen maybe he might be involved. He is not doing too well in the AHL right now so it is possible. You also have Brendan Gaunce who has 1 goal in 61 games. Also Jordan Subban that could be added.
Kane is proving on the ice he has value still and getting 2 blue chip NHL prospects even ones that will be a 3rd pairing defensemen with PP potential for a 2nd PP group, and a 3rd line 2 way center wouldnt be a stretch for a player that is top 2 line winger.

I wouldn't trade Kane unless they are certain he won't re-sign after next year. He is the type of skilled power forward you try to get, not give away for Braydon friggen McNabb. |

Cassels, Gaunce, Subban sure.
Stetcher on the other hand is one of the lone bright spots we have this season.
Kid's been playing on our number one pairing for most the season straight out of college lol. |

Kane for McNabb?? Are you serious?
We dumped McNabb and 2 picks for Hudson Vanishing and Nick Deslauriers (who is Foligno with no offensive upside)
So essentially we get Bogo and Deslauriers (and McNabb back) for Myers, Staff, Armia, Lemieux, and 3 picks (a first and 2 2nds)???
Throw in Lehner
