Great job Dan and Noel! I wish Cappy well no matter how much I ripped him. I've been out of work before and it's no fun. Good info on Stamkos and Strome and Nelson. Will be interesting if Weight can get more out of Strome and Nelson along with Ladd.

I really want him to, but at the same time i don't. If he does "turn this team around" then the interim tag could be removed. I want the entire clown squad gone. Clean (frank)ing house. New PoHO, new GM, new coaching staff, and new coaching staff in Bridgeport. No remnants of this regime.

Why is it the only team where a young forward plays wing or center and it is an issue is the Islanders. For the life of me I never heard such horse shat in my life.

How does snow still have a job. The Isle seemed to be on a real good path, however has really messed things up.

I agree 7, but horse shat is what the Isles do. Hopefully that is starting to change.

Like I said, I want Weight gone with the rest of these ass hats. I know you're saying he's incapable of doing so, but my concern lies in if was able to turn it around a little. Perhaps this reverberates in the room and wakes some guys up, gives them a shot in the arm. I'm not saying they'll make the playoffs. If Weight somehow brings this into the end of the season with something like a 20-15-5 record, it might be enough for ownership to want to give him a full season. I hope not.

For some reason alot of teams go on 10 game rampages after a coach gets canned. I wouldn't be surprised if they strung together a handful of convincing wins over the next couple weeks. What happens after than is anyone's guess.

Cappy was an effective coach with younger and college players but this squad needs to grow up and be held accountable.

Snow did a good job with drafting and draft day trades but they do lack the undrafted free agent type who bring competitive snarl that some clubs find.

Also not good at making trades that reshape the roster. High risk trades when the GM has a blinkered goaltender perspective. Very little that comes out of his mouth reveals a real understanding of his roster.

Owners have a nice arena but can't expect half filled seats home games against non-rivals to make the players feel motivated.

Maybe it's just me, but for some reason, it seems brighter out today. The birds seem like they're singing louder. The sun feels a bit warmer. The air just seems a touch a fresher.

I like the idea of Kevin Dineen or Crawford as top choices.
