I agree Noel that Greiss should be signed now, but it would not shock me if the Isles are left with Halak for next year.

No fear Ur. They are not going to keep any momentum from this win. It was a fluke. Unless this team goes on a huge playoff run, a new president will be hired and changes will happen. Even if they somehow make the playoffs, I doubt Ledecky cancels the president search.

I hate to see a team with the history of the islanders like this.
Just wondering would the isles consider trading JT to get a kings ransom and
rebuild? A lot of good parts there, just don't seem to fit together.

I turned the game on when it was 3-1 Caps, now it's 6-5 at the end of the same period

No idea looked bad but the period started at 2 0 caps

Well once The Leafs finally put people in place to Run, Coach and Draft/trade properly and with a perpose that's when things turned around.
That's exactly what the Islanders need as well. Then and only then will things change.

In all seriousness the fact that Greiss wasn't extended before they waived Halak is troubling to me. He is going to see what he can get in free agency and I can't blame him. Just more proof our GM doesn't have a clue how to handle his assets.

Well his numbers are up there with the best over the last year and a half and a bridge deal to sorokin makes sense. That along with their lack of cap space makes me think they'd want to resign him and I wouldn't be upset with it at all. With all the other issues this team has greiss has been a strong spot
