rangers are blood thirsty after being systematically destroyed by the Glorious Maple Leafs of the Centre of the Universe. You all better hope Mr. October has recovered after giving up a touchdown. - mr.peanut

If Danault is for real and if Pleks can keep up a moderate scoring pace and if Gallagher comes back to replace Ghetto on Plek's line... this is not a bad team at all.
Not sure it is a cup winner, but it is pretty decent with some good depth. - Mashadar
Price will need to bounce back, as much as I defended him in here. Staying healthy is another key (like any others teams) if they are to compete for anything.
I also expect Bergevin to be a buyer at the deadline, with a few 2nd round picks in the next few years. |

might be also fun to use those, since they didn't drafted in the second round for the last three drafts and it's hindering their prospect pool |

gonna need a 2nd line rw to play behind radulov, or even take his spot when he inevitably snaps. can't rely on Captain Hook aka brendan gallathirdliner |

You need to trade something to get something. If Bergevin did not want the team to compete now, why would he go after Weber? Why would he trade picks for Shaw?
+, they don't need to trade all of their 2nd picks. |

Don't know if they need another top 4 defenseman when Markov will come back.
Still think that they need another top 6 forward to compete, but you may be right. |

They definitively need a top 6 forward, much more than another dman. Maybe Patrick Sharp? Ideally a UFA they won't have to protect at the next expension draft.
I could see them get a 3rd pairing guy on defense, as insurance in case of an injury, but that's it. |

They may go out an get a 2/3 line guy if they don't think Gallagher will be back 100% for playoffs. I expect if Pleks does not continue to contribute, I would not be surprised of Hanzel ends up in MTL.
I do think they will get another 5-6D guy, more defensively reliable than Redmond / Johnston / Barberio. |

Synchronized figure skaters...or none of the three can turn to the right. Both probably.
(frank)in Bruins up 5-2. |
