Well, whatever is going on, at least it's fun to watch.

Philly will be a good test on tuesday, and they're not in the division, which bodes well for the Sabres.
I guess Ennis has been skating but I'm not sure what kind of timetable he is on. I'm also not sure where he would fit in with the current group of forwards.

Yes, but I was referring to the past few games. And, as for yesterday's game, I'll take to terrible periods if I can get a 3rd like that any time.

If this season so far is any indication, it's a good bet that they won't.

props to you...wasn't a lot of whining and complaining after the game...and the trolls were held at bay because of the win

The Sabres are 2-0-1 in their last three games. They dominated a sleeping NY Rangers team, lost a lead in the third period and the game in overtime to the Western Conference leading Chicago Blackhawks and they managed to turn the tables on a good Winnipeg Jets team and pull out a win

Doesn't inspire much confidence, especially since winnipeg isnt very good. Haven't we seen this before? they went on that little run and then poof another losing streak? thats what this team is, they were bound to win a few in a row at some point they certainly have the top end talent for it. I don't believe anything has been figured out other than who has a place here beyond next year and who should be gone asap.

It was a very entertaining 3rd period though, O'Reilly was in full beast mode.

Not bummed out, i just dont buy that a good 3 game stretch implies the team has figured it out. The same is true for the opposite, every team at some point will lose a few in a row as well, thats just how it goes.

There's plenty to like moving forward with this team but you'd hope 3 games isnt enough to change the entire opinion of the team especially of those who are weighing the team down.

a) pots 10 goals and 9 assists to his credit by the TD
B) pots 14 goals and has 13 assists by years end

What are your recommendations for what GMTM should do?

He's a Junior but it sounds like he's likely coming out after this year and if he leaves school Sabres have I think it's two months to sign him or he becomes an FA.

Trade him for defense. Easy call if you can get anything. Too injury prone, big contract, getting up there in age, inconsistent

Not to mention, in the last 6 periods, the Sabres were brutal in 4 of them.

When this team starts out playing others for most of games and just flat out wins, then maybe they'll have figured some things out.

Don't get too excited. You were playing the Jets. They will be in the bottom three this year at the end.
