Interesting lines, I'd like to see them tweak the 1st & 3rd though and go with:
Raffl-G-Schenn
Read-Cousins-Simmonds
It's just that I like Schenn better on wing and Cousins at C |

He should have left things alone, we were out shooting teams. The offense would have came. We played tough opponents. |

I know you disagree, but I just think Schenn is a better fit at ES on the wing and that playing on his offside with a RH shooter like G in the middle could, along with Raffl doing the dirty work along the wall, make for a very effective line |

Yeah, I'm really not a fan of Read on the top line. |

One win in the last eight games, outscored 28-13, I have no problem mixing things up a bit. |

A matinee against Tampa?
This should go well |

Tampa's not exactly coming in hot as a pistol either. |

The bottom 6 blows, no getting around that this year. |

Raffl has the puck die on his stick every damn time. He is killing that top line.
Not sure putting "I do a lot of things well" Matt Read up with G and Raffl is a good call but lets see. Hell it sure isn't a long term solution.
The turd twins - Couturier and Schenn need to step up, G and V cant do it all on this club. |

Interesting, but I'm not a fan of having 3 pass first players on the top line. If you are going to play TK with G, I'd rather have Simmonds on the other wing |

Agree with you on Coots and Schenn though I think playing with TK and Jake may get Coots going. Re Schenn, I think moving him back to wing makes him a more effective ES player |

Im ready to give up on the Coots 2 C thing. Everyone will fall in love on his next garbage goal but meh. He's an ideal 3C, and there is nothing wrong with that.
This club need a more offensively gifted, and consistent threat at 2C. It sure as hell isn't Brayden Schenn.
Regarding Voracek and G, I like them as a permanent duo. Both play their best when together, and I think the other lines just have to sort themselves out as best they can. I dont want those two apart, its the only reliable threat. |

The last thing I want, is a defensive 3rd line center added to this club. What the (frank) for? |

I would love it if they could find a quality 2C with good wheels and size. This would really set up 3 effective lines. Assuming Schenn would have to be moved to acquire the 2C, I'd try:
Raffl-G-Jake
TK-the new guy-Simmonds
Lyubimov-Coots-Read
VDV-PEB-Cousins or Weise |

I hope Lindblom can be that #1 left wing. Kind of a knuble type guy to put there, that hopefully can keep up with the speed of G and V.
Schenn has gone right back to being purely a warm body this season if he isn't in one of his hot streaks. Thats where he and Simmonds differ. He can go and (frank) off with Luke for all I care. |

We will see if that guy can be Rubstov but he seems a bit farther away, and kind of a Couturier-lite himself.
Not sure where a 2C can be found. Flyers will have to dip into those defensive prospects if they want to trade for one. |

The Flyers based on the evidence wants strong 2 way players at the position. They don't need a dynamic offensive center, they just need another strong 2 way center to anchor another line. If that center also has dynamic offensive ability, all the better, but not a necessity.

Cool. Lets build a team of strong d-first guys that cant score for poop. Sleep aids for everyone.
The Flyers damn well need a more offensively gifted forward that can drive play. |

Who needs a 20 goal, 50 point winger! Just another warm body!
