NO. Quit asking. I don't know ANY fans who are asking this, only the press. Management will do what is best for the long term viability of the team, not what's best for THIS year. If they get a good offer for JVR or Bozak, etc., and it makes sense for the long term, BAM, done deal. No short term trades for a playoff run are happening! Hello!!??

........and further.....keeping JVR and Bozak, Polak, Hunwick, etc., for a one time playoff run rather than picking up, for example, draft picks, and a potential long term top #3 or #4 Dman, for years to come, makes Zero, sense. The same press that is asking this would fry Management if they kept those guys and hot knocked out in the first round. I can see now........did Leafs give up future for one playoff round.....Leafs reneg on rebuild........Leafs sell future. Thank gawd current Leaf Management doesn't listen to any of this press.

I would keep JVR. I see no reason to trade him right now. He'll get just as much at next year's trade deadline, and if he comes at a decent price, I'd be more than happy to re-sign him. He's 27, he's got a few years of prime left.
