IMHO, AHL scorer, no real roster place for him on a contending team (not bona fide top 9 and not a shut down guy). Some would likely refer to him as a "tweener".

About the same category as Marincin then. EK also reporting that the Oil are looking at Franson. Should have kept Martin M. He's not great but can at least keep up with the play.

I was one of the few in the trade him camp a number of years ago. Was hoping I would have turned out to be wrong. I still might but looking I guess but the odds are with my original assessment.

Any team with space should claim him. WHL standout. Tore it up in the AHL. Limited space on the Blues. Hitchcock couldn't fit him into his system, but he is creative and that is what Hitch likes least. Blackhawks could add him and make their team better. Just about any team could add him for depth.

Never thought Rattie was an NHL player. I wouldn't mind at all if someone claimed him. Won't be surprised if he goes unclaimed though.

The guy played for Team Canada. Yes hes's small, but if if his teammate Nic Petan can make it in the NHL, then so can Rattie. He just needs to be on the right team and in the right system.
