I'd like to see what Jensen has, give him 5 games or so. If it's not due to someone being sick I could see Hrivik coming out.

Thanks Jan, forgot about the penalty shot. That was pure marketing by the NHL. Peca was a Ranger killer just like Briere. Nobody on the Flyers had a better chance to score than Briere and Hank stoned him.
Still worried about Buch coming back, getting hit and regressing. Really hope that is not what happens, nervous about taking a hard hit and being out again. Buch is definitely going to be a target.

Hartford also has a game tonight, so I'd be surprised if the Rangers called up Nik Jensen without the intention of playing him.

squeezing all these games in early in the season just to get this bye week is really strange. 3 games until they are off, they should be playing their balls off these 3 games.

I was at the Winter classic. That call was total douche. Probably bothered me less since I was a neutral observer, but just another embarrassment by the league.

I remember seething that last minute, first they called Callahan a dive when he was hooked & should have had a empty netter, then the total horsesh!t PS call. Torts for once had a right to be a blowhard after at game.

Same.

No sense bringing them back for just Columbus. I don't think either is ready for tonight or tomorrow

I remember Eddie O talking about Keenan bag skating the boys in the 93-94 season, said they were the worst ones he ever was put through.

Bag Skates are the WORST! Its the starts and stops the eat at your legs, not the sheer amount of skating. I had a coach in college that was kind enough to switch up the length of the ice bag skates with wallies (back and forth width wise of the rink) just to make our legs get tired even quicker. It was a source of pride to NOT be one of the guys that would throw up lol

However I will say, come the third period of a game we were so much better conditioned then other teams and would skate them into the ground.

The Ranger fans in there, the 2 brothers remind me of Paul Sorvino & Henry Hill in Goodfellas.

I don't know how that sequence made it through editing.
