Too bad PK won't be in against his old team.

I hope the Preds do something to welcome back Shea in his return, I'm sure they will considering he was the face of the franchise forever.

Does P.K have a no-trade contract ? I was just curious, not trying to throw him under the bus.......yet

Relax, not horrible at all. Injuries happen. Let's see where we are in 4 years. Relax. That being said get ready for an emotional Welcome back To Nashville tomorrow night. Looking forward to the tribute video.

Wish Saros was starting. Love Rinne but Saros is lightning in a bottle right now.

Since I can't be at the game, can someone post the tribute video for Shea? Please?

I laugh when I hear this. As I did when the trade first went down and everyone (probably the same people) were saying how bad the Habs got screwed on that trade. Anyone who knew both players knew this was a trade for the future for the Preds. Webers contract isn't great. Montreal looks great now (and Weber is certainly helping, since he is a great player) but Carey Price is carrying that team. And the Preds look bad but it isn't (all) on Subban.

Forsberg had a terrible first 30 games. Rinne had a terrible December. Craig Smith and Colin Wilson have been MIA ALL season. Josi is as electric without Weber backing him up (not subban's fault) and Ekholm has had the worst year he ever has. (giveaways GALORE)

This trade will even its self out eventually. Great that the Habs are doing well. Preds need a lot of things to change before they turn their season around.

The problem is the Preds don't have the luxury of time.
Nashville is a a very fickle town with winning and losing in hockey. If they don't make the playoffs in hockey........and the resurgence of the Titans, they could have a shift in attendance.

You also post a number of excuses...Forsberg, Wilson, Smith...etc.. Rather interesting you list so many issues with so many players. Seems to me the question should be why? The only major change from last year's playoff team is Weber/Subban.

It's interesting to note that since Nov 1st, both teams have the exact same record (14-9-5). Some people think the Habs are having a great season, but except for October, they've had ups and downs.

I would also question how long Nashville is willing to have a 9 million dollar contract on the books if they aren't successful? I can't answer that or judge what their idea of success is, but Nashville isn't a huge market and i'd have to think that it will become an issue if they don't make the playoffs. But hey, ya never know.
