One involves the Canucks and a full rebuild; another is in regard to Claude Julien's future in Boston; and the final one pertains to the St. Louis Blues' playoff future this year.

How would firing Claude or Willie improve Boston and Vancouver respectively?
The coaches aren't the problems on these teams. It's a player issue.
I'm sure Boston can't wait for the chance to face an Islander team led by Claudes system. So no.
Willie Desjardins is a great coach and mentor to players young and old. IMO he's just what Vancouver needs while building a team not based solely on the twins. So no to this one as well.
Who cares what St. Louis is doing? They should have one 3 cups by now with the wealth of talent on that squad. Their window is closing quickly.

No, building through the draft is not a short cut. Trading for Kessel and Phaneuf ...those are short cuts. Jason Blake was a short cut. Komisarek was a short cut. The Leafs until 2 years ago took nothing but short cuts and the results were what you're seeing in Vancouver right now. So if you want to take pride in doing things the old way like the Leafs, go ahead.

As a Leaf fan I'm loving the direction of the team and the implementation of a plan never tried before by this team. As opposed to repeating the same mistakes over and over. It may pan out for the Leafs...it may not. But ask Pens, Hawks, Kings fans how much shame they feel after their "tank" jobs.

Pretty sure the Oilers aren't ashamed to watch McDavid play for them.
