Problem is no matter how you look at it Weise has been a dissapointment .
Yes, a good game here or there but no consistency and his contract doesn't look good if this is what we get over 4 years. Gladly have have White at 1M

Spain has its own rules. In the US, being born in America makes you a US citizen.

It's strange to me that they are using this game to get Schultz back in the lineup, rather than the game against NJ when he was fresh and Manning had played the night before.

Not thrilled with Cousins on the wing, nor do I get Coot's visa issues, but oh well. OTOH, I'm really thrilled to see so many Flyers prospects playing at the WJC and I'm just happy there is a Flyers game to watch tonight.

Perhaps they want to show that Schultz can still play in order to try and trade him?

Possibly, but why not do that against the Devils when (presumably) Manning could have done with a rest anyway?
