The officiating is terrible.

All the Islanders do around the net is grab a hold of the guy and take them down or spear guys.

Pathetic. The Islanders suck and that game could have been had with a stronger effort.

But play the guy who gets paid a lot hardly scores or even bothers to set players up over the kid who actually scores and sets people up.

Seriously just keep the superior player Yakupov off the ice and play the slow takes a hundred stick penalties Lehtera.

2 high sticks and a hit to the head(kinda borderline as they guy was smaller but Reaves might have gotten an elbow up). Those are called every time. Other than that the refs let them play. Plenty of non calls went both ways. At least they were consistent with the non calls.

Chase and Kerber seemed to share your opinion and thought it was called well, consistently. Something about the Blues didn't apply enough pressure to draw/earn a penalty.

I didn't see a single minute of the game. I'll try to do a quick preview of the Devils game tomorrow. Have to get some work done tonight.

I'll admit I'm a Lehtera apologist. We just need him to return to form. He hasn't been the same since his injury. I also think he's only going to be competing to the best of his ability when paired with Tarasenko.
