Looks like JJ has officially played himself off the team. Guy doesn't look bad on the ice but just doesn't produce. I like Kalinin better at 3rd line center while Zacha is out anyway.

Schneider needs to be the Schneider of yore tonight. The Devils aren't going to get many by Price, so they need to keep it tight defensively.

JJ played plays himself out of the lineup every year (people, this is his 7th season).

And lastly, I wish this is a first round match-up. Tampa and Florida aren't in the playoff picture yet, Philly is on fire, and the Devils can't play defense. It'd be nice to sneak in, but there's still a lot of season to play out.

Going to be very tough for us to sneak in this season with teams like Columbus and Philly having solid seasons so far even teams like Detroit and Boston who many thought were going to take major steps back this season are looking like solid playoff contenders

I think Schneider is fine. The D is struggling and the forwards haven't been helping out enough getting back. They seemed to tighten it up for the Vancouver game but we'll see.

I'm more disappointed in Lovejoy, he should have come in 6 inches higher with that stick when he came in on Price. Once a goalie does that he's fair game. That stick should have been across Prices threat not his nips.

I like how lovejoy just comes in and cross checks him out of the way
