I thought that was Dougie Hamiltons best game this season. Although he did not have a point (disallowed assist on offside goal) he was solid in both ends of the ice. Every time he had the puck he was driving play, and he played the last 2 minutes of the game solid in his own end. I've been impressed lately with his game especially with all the rumours.

I always suspected yet I am still somewhat surprised. This is a very brave post. Kudos to you.

This is one of those games where the shot totals didn't really tell the whole story. Dallas outshot us in the 2nd but outside of Spezza's breakaway that was deflected into the netting Dallas didn't really have many dangerous opportunities.

We had several breakaways, odd man rushes and high danger scoring chances in the second period alone (including that 2 on 0 with nobody in sight).

Once we had the lead we hunkered down and focused on denying Dallas zone entries. They piled on some shots in the last 5 minutes, but nothing that really made me very nervous.

With the number of golden opportunities the Dallas D gave us that game could have easily been 5-1 Flames.

Hadn't seen the Stars play this year until yesterday.

Easy to understand why they're underperforming. Their blue line is hot garbage.

I will. This is a playoff calibre team. It's still going to be a fight to get in, but this team is definitely good enough to do it.

I fully believed you guys had it. The Sabres looked so flat.

What did the Oil do to earn such scorn from the Hockey Gods?

I complain about this a lot but..

Not only do we lead the League in minor penalties taken.. our lead is growing. We now have taken 14 more penalties than any other team.

Both Bennet and Tkachuk take their fair share. But Tkachuk is starting to draw them as well.

With the balance in lines, solid goal tending- we are looking better and better every game.

Dougie and Gio has been an excellent pairing, Tkachuk, Frolik and Backs create multiple chances whenever they are on the ice and Having Gaudreau back now, playing like he is, things are falling in place.

I always wondered what the hell his real name was. I liked it better when I thought his parents just went ahead and named him TJ

I imagine if there was not some sub par QB in the NFL with a similar name we would all be calling him Tom Brodie!

I might have to start calling him Tommy Boy.
