Good job Dan it's encouraging to see ledecky asking advice from hockey people and alumni alike. I'm fine waiting to the off season if need be for changes as long as they are knowledgeable people with clout that can pull in other players

When I first started watching hockey in the late 1980s I remember Hrudey as the Isles goalie, later had that run in LA w the 93 Kings, had his trademark bandanna on under the helmet.

Nice...what was the feedback from Patty L ? Not sure I want him as Pres, but could be worse. Dale Tallon seems the best available GM right now, I would have no problem with him getting the job. Potvin as Pres? I thought he wanted it when Spano was there...maybe too old now.

Nice...what was the feedback from Patty L ? Not sure I want him as Pres, but could be worse. Dale Tallon seems the best available GM right now, I would have no problem with him getting the job. Potvin as Pres? I thought he wanted it when Spano was there...maybe too old now.

Luckys not leaving LA imho. Talon would be my pick if you could get the Panthers to let him go as I believe he's under contract for 2 more years?
Laffer would be an acceptable choice for me as well.
I hope he comes on with you guys as it will be interesting to hear what he has to say about the whole situation regarding the Islanders moving forward.

Tallon’s resume would seem to fit the role Malkin and Ledecky are looking for if they choose to go with someone who has extensive experience navigating the NHL. He is still part of the Panthers’ front office but likely would be allowed to leave for another job.
