I like the physical presence that Englund and Robinson bring to the line up.

Not enough credit is being to Phaneuf.

Karlsson is playing the best hockey of his career. What more support does Karlsson need to lead this deep into the playoffs?

The only thing broken this week was Jack Eichel's leg...

It's not the prettiest hockey, but Boucher's system has been undeniably successful at getting results in the first 1/3 of the season. The fact that they're continuing to win games with the likes of Methot, Ryan, and Anderson out of the lineup is a testament to the strength of the team game they're playing. It was also great to have a chance to see Englund play his first game... I don't think he looked out of place at all, and hopefully will continue to get a chance to show he can handle the NHL game.

That said, can someone even begin to explain how Teddy Purcell doesn't get claimed off waivers by Ottawa? They're specifically looking for a versatile winger, they've already lost Puempel this year for nothing, the contract involved is only for 1yr/$1.6M, and they would be giving up no assets to add a player who can play either wing and has been on pace for 40pts or more in 5 of the past 6 seasons. Who exactly are they looking for that would be a better deal than that?

I give Dorion a lot of credit for the Condon move... just wish he had the license to make a move like this before teams start demanding trade deadline prices.

Honestly can't remember a more boring brand of Sens hockey to watch, but it seems to work for this group. I don't think it would be as noticeable if the power play was half decent. As I've been saying for a couple of seasons now, it would be nice to add another decent top 6 or top 3 forward to this group. Being 25th in league scoring, likely won't get you passed the top teams down the road. Team is in ok shape right now, generally.

Guy Boucher coached Purcell in Tampa from 2010 to 2013 so I am guessing Boucher doesnt want him
