Flyers have 5 dmen in the top 50 scorers in 5 on 5 points/60. None of them are named Ghost. He lead all Flyers dmen last season, but he only played 64 games so it's probably safe to discount it entirely.

Provy will jump a bunch of spots when it's updated with today's game. |

So glad the Flyers took today's game from Chicago, not so glad that I didnt get to see any of it. Saturday matinees are generally a no-go for me.
... and on a totally random note, I happen to think that the Player-Father road trip is one of the coolest things ever. |

Several other NHL teams do it now, too, but the Flyers originated it. |

Just one more thing for which the Flyers can be rightfully proud... of course, this makes me think of Ed Snider, whose presence I think we all miss.. and of my own father, who although he's been gone almost a decade, I find that I actually miss more as time passes rather than less.
I may have to go re-watch Field of Dreams later on or something. |

Mono, if you're lurking what are your thoughts on Cody Glass? Have you seen him play at all? - Mordecai
Nope. I've pretty much not gone out of my way to watch any non-Flyers prospects yet. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my pretend scouting, but I have other stuff to do too haha. I like to let things settle before I really go checking out draft eligibles, so I have a better idea of what the draft picture looks like. 2nd half is always more important anyway.
Now, I've read a lot of good things about Cody Glass as a riser, but maybe someone in our range. He's tearing up the WHL, and I've read that he's a player who does everything well. Just from reading, he intrigues me more than the other comparable prospect in the WHL in Rasmussen, whose ceiling seems more limited and points are more of the garbage collector variety. I'm sure I'll watch a game or two soon. Hey, I'll tell you how to watch and you can report back to me. |

But the Portland Winterhawks have been kind of known to produce really good prospects that don't pan out too, so that's worth mildly considering. I'm sure I'll watch a game or two soon. I like the cut of your jib. Long story short, kid draws Pavelski comparisons. Only video I've seen is some highlights here and there. It is still pretty early for sure |

Nice little run here. Like I said last week if the goaltending can right itself somewhat there's no reason to think this team is worse than last years. |

it wasn't just the goaltending. it was team defense, esp. at 5 on 5. tighten up, play with some structure, quit running around. both have come around a bit, mason more so than the rest.
nice to see them string some W's together. they had to in order to get into a playoff spot. hopefully the teams behind them lose some of those games in hand and they stay close.

He's probably going top 3. Like, yeah, he's great, but getting excited about him is as pointless as hoping we draft Nolan Patrick. There is 0.0% chance he will be there. I'm trying to gather info on guys who have some chance to be there in the teens. |
