I also agree with the content of this blog

Stupid question : Fans can vote for players on the ballot, but who decides which players go on the ballot in the first place?

It's been for years i think they decide the names before the start of the season.

The system is just isn't working.

How can you not AT LEAST, include the names of Galchenyuk and Radulov in the ballots?? It makes no sense.

Also another important question : Who will be this year's John Scott?

I didn't even get into the other snubs! Amazing that they left off Auston Matthews as well. Zach Werenski has been outstanding for Columbus. Actually, this one year that a rookie game would be extremely entertaining.

The logic for choosing the names before the season begins is outdated. Especially since there are no longer physical ballots that needed to be printed.

I feel like Matt Martin has a good shot.

All-Star game ballots never make sense. They are always based on everything but the actual season. It's a popularity contest.

The first round of all star voting is only for the team captains so it makes sense they would include the more weathered and proven veterans from each team. I have no doubt Galchenyuk will get in in the end, and I think everyone would agree that Radulov being there will only improve the show.

The lists were made to try and not have another John Scott issue. They also are not allowing write ins due to the John Scott issue last year.
