Lyubimov played a great game! Hopefully Hak doesn't have a brain fart and bench him again...

I can't wait for you to turn on Stolarz and start making your voodoo doll of him.

That line had a very good game.

Finally we saw a game of Flyer hockey. Yes there was breakdowns but the effort in the offensive zone to get the forecheck going was good.

Maybe we need to have a rat like Matt Tkachuk against them more. Which actually bodes well with Marchand and Niel in the next two games.

A lot of good signs from the youngsters.
Let's hope this is a building block.

As for the whipping boy for before last night's game being Schenn. Those who whipped him were most likely playing along with the theme of hoping that the guy we bash on here has a big game that night.

CV and AMac are not included in the fun bashing, They get bashed for being exactly what they are.

Glad we won. Stolarz played well enough, but a more opportunistic team probably takes that one. In the end, take the 2 points and move on.

What the hell was with the hooting/whistling at the arena last night?

I think 3 of his four goals didn't go in off his stick.

But still I think he should replace Giroux as 1C.

I thought the Flyer's clearly outplayed the Flames. If it wasn't for Johnson the Flyers couldve scored 8 or 9. They had numerous good chances and definitely controlled play.

Really it wasn't much different than several games this year, they just scored enough to overcome the breakdowns/goaltending.

It's going to be super awkward when his skate takes Brayden Schenn's job.

Glad to see Giroux look more engaged.

Also is Laughton starting to become a loss cause? When does patience end?

Twitter told me they were doing the Ric Flair "WOOO" thing.

Not sure what precipitated it. I didn't go to last night's game, because Sunday night games (esp. when the start time is pushed to 7:30) are a bit of a pain in the ass.

I don't think he's a lost cause, but I do think someone's gonna have to get hurt or backslide for him to get back in the lineup. I don't think he's viewed as having won a permanent spot.

First goal handcuffed Stolie after a bad pinch by Streit. The other two were just about unstoppable after breakdowns. AMAC and MDZ looked asleep on the PK for Tkachuk's goal. And then that same duo lazily covered a shorthanded chance which leads to the 3rd Flames goal.

If I had one wish it would be that I could drive AMAC to Allentown today and it be a one way trip.
