So the Habs win 5 straight they are ranked #5 but LA win 3 and get the second place? With Quick out for close to 3 months and Budaj in net, they won't maintain this production, they are a good team but 2nd place?

This blog is total garbage, guess Tanner and his geek squad wrote it?

What happened to "it's only been 7 games so we need to wait a little before judging" you wrote in the hotstove?

did you see Price steal that game last night as Montreal got completely DOMINATED by the Isles?

Thanks for the love Peter.

Rangers forward group is stacked, young and fast. Quite frankly, we should be 7-0.

A lot of the Rangers success this year revolved around the question if Staal and Girardi can rebound or will they continue to decline. Well, so far so good. They've rebounded really, really well and appear to be legitimate top 4 defensemen again.

it was INSANE. Isles controlled 43% of the shot attempts and Price sat on the bench. but he still STOLE that game.

Habs are terrible. the fall will be glorious!!!

I don't know how you guys keep winning without Subban constantly smacking his stick on the ice demanding the puck

True. You will miss Subban's ability to skate in a full sprint in a circle around the ice like a dog chasing his own tail for shifts at a time

While forwards wait at the blue line wondering wtf he is doing?

Love PK but Weber brings a lot of stability and he is one of the best in his own zone.

Todd Cordell - are you from the West Coast? Are you a complete buffoon when it comes to the game of hockey? It doesn't matter what the underlying factors might be, the fact is that the Habs are 6-0-1 asnd have only used Carey Price in 3 games so far. This makes your next statement even more laughable as the HABS have not relied on Price yet this year. for any of their wins. Habs seem to be getting stronger with every game. Anyone who does not have Montreal in the Top 3 Power rankings at this point so far, is clearly a complete moron. Go away and do some actual research loser.

Probably took a lot of guts on his part, considering he wrote not too long ago that he thinks the Oil will finish in the bottom five of the league (even over the Yotes and Flames)

That's a totally ridiculous comment. I assume you don't live in Canada - either that or you are a Maple Laff fan. Have you ever gone to see the Habs play at any other venue in Canada outside Montreal? There are often more Hab fans in places like Vancouver, Calgary Edmonton, Winnipeg or Ottawa than the home team. I live in Ontario and am a Habs fan. My friends in Vancouver and Winnipeg are Hab fans. My relatives in New Brunswick and Novsaa Scotia are Hab fans. In fact, you should check out Florida teams as well - there are so many Hab fans pretty much everywhere in North America. There are so many Hab fans just across Canada its actually quite mind boggling.

Read my comment again before you make yourself look like a donkey.
FYI it says pretty clearly I'm a habs fan next to my username.
And if you still don't get it after you read it, I'm saying every other team's fans seem to love to hate on habs, I'm saying nothing about the locale of habs fans.
