Another great article! You are the best Habs writer on this site and it is truly mind boggling that you don`t get more responses. Keep up the good work! |

Thanks Jennifer. I've said it before, keep up the good work. I appreciate your efforts.
I hope all the haters of the deal will eat crow at the end of the year when Weber wins the Norris...
The guy is playing like a boss and the team is rallied around him like they weren't with Subban.
I said it so many times, that Weber > Subban right now and probably for years 1-3 of the deal and then it might change as Weber gets older, but he'll still be a top 4 for them... and mentoring younger d men... guys like Sergachev will be a lot better having been around leaders like Weber and Markov. the sum of hte parts is greater with Weber than Subban... |

I would switch PAtches with Lek. Place back Byron on the 3rd line.
Patches would have Radulov to feed him and Plek to cover on D. |
|
|
|
So I'm guessing they sit Sergachev tonight and play him Saturday against the Leafs? After that, that would be 9 games into the season... do they have to make the decision whether to keep him up or send him back to the O (or is it 9 games played??? he's only actually played 3...) |

I think I'd just switch Radulov with Gallagher. Gallagher improves every line he's on and Chucky with Radulov should be really good. |

Thanks. I agree completely. Maybe play him against the Leafs on Saturday and then send him down. Can't develop if he's not playing... |

curious if this was another game Montreal needed its goalie to steal since they were absolutely dominated by the Isles despite controlling nearly 60% of the shot attempts. |

maybe the kid has some gambling debts or something. cannot think of another good reason why he would still be up with the team. he's 18 years old. he needs to play competitive hockey, not sit in a press box every night. |

Sergachev hasnt played 9 games...scratches dont count towards his total. They do count towards the 40 game threshold though. |

yes, that's what I was saying
but at this rate, when will they put him back in? Might as well send him down to Windsor where he'll have an important role on a great team. |
