Hey guys, so im in a 20 person fantasy league, currently have a spot open due to Kyle Connor taking a trip to the pressbox (you have to take some gambles in a league this large). I have been looking at Kevin Fiala, hows he playing and is it true hes on the 2nd line with Foresberg?

Thanks for the help!

Probably worth the add in a 20 man league. He has the potential to score some goals.

Too bad we can't reverse the Pred's, Habs trade we miss Weber big time in the toughness dept.. We have no one to stand up to anyone except Bass and he is not going to play full time.

I am a big Preds fan. Former season ticket holder for over 10 + years, now living in CA. I was so excited to go to the game last night in Anaheim and then so excited to leave. You knew it was going to be a long night during pre-game skate. Majority of players joking around, laughing, skating without their helmets showing off their cool haircuts. Too bad they forgot they had a game to play.

The thing is, David Poile still hasn't addressed what this team has needed in a long time. A big presence that can score goals. We traded a great defenseman for a great defenseman. We are no better, no worse. It's the same makeup as last year and if I remember, no so called "expert" was predicting them to make the playoffs last year. We get Subban and all of a sudden, everybody has us as the team to beat in the west. All because they recognize the name. If you were going to trade Weber, should've traded him for another forward or go sign a Milan Lucic or somebody like that. Just because players like Forsberg, Jarnkrok, etc. have another year under their belt, doesn't put them over the hump. And if you think the light switch is finally going to come on for Wilson, you're mistaken. In seven years, his best year was 2014 with 42 pts. Why would anyone expect more? Also, our goaltending is now an issue. Rinne is obviously starting the backside of his career with no proven backup. I have no faith in Mazanec and wish they would go ahead and keep Saros up.

I do think this team is a playoff team, but they are badly overrated. Poile will have to make some moves to meet the expectation that everybody has set for them this year.

I don't THINK this team will miss the playoffs, but it wouldn't surprise me if they are a bubble team. The Central is as good as ever and the Pacific has improved big time. Not so sure the Central gets 5 teams in this year.

I personally think they just need to hit their stride. Losing Weber was big, he was our captain, and had a major presence on and off the ice. Our big guns haven't found their groove yet, but they will, and I feel like this team is going to be very good once everything kicks into place. Give it time. Don't know what we need to do about getting Forsberg better at starting off his season. But I still believe we have a very, very good team that can do some damage this year.

GO PREDS !!!

Edit: I am worried about our size. Looking at some of our guys that LA were pushing around last night, they looked like kids compared to them. I hate to see Watson, and Ekholm have to stand up all the time to it. I don't think they're fighters. I never worried about Weber getting into a fight, except for the person he was fighting.
