All this newspaper conglomeration is going to end up like USA Today, Pravda of the US. Carp is a talented writer who knows his stuff, he will get picked up soon. Sucks to have that many years in and lose your job. All in the name of profit.

Horrible news about Carp. I was upset when John Dellapina left the Daily News a while back but this really got me angry. Like you said, he's been there 40 friggin years & he is a pros pro. I guess maybe that's the problem, he's viewed as a dinosaur in this new age of media.
