Young team blues. They've actually exceeded expectations for me. They've played 4 of 5 on the road and with a little bit of better goaltending and defense, they could be 5 - 0. The youth looks good, but the vets are letting them down. The rebuild is now at the stage, where they've drafted their cornerstones and now they can use all of their young drafted assets and extra draft picks to start stealing players from teams that have cap issues. Trouba is that type of player. It's just a wait and see going forward. Once Winnipeg starts slipping in the standings, then they'll be easier to deal with.

I know that one too! I put in allot of hours some weeks. Back from the dead and into the meat grinder. Sleep is a rare commodity.

Agreed. The collapses are tough to watch as fans.

But the Leafs have a had a good start to the year. 5 or 10 points on the road with one home game. Only have trailed in a game for 10 mins total though the first 5 games. Rookies are playing well. Hopefully they can figure out closing out a game. If they can, the wins will come

I can't seem to sleep beyond 4 hours anymore. This is going to catch up to me...just a matter of when. Working right now, waiting for my puter to catch up, and the work week starts tomorrow. YAY!

A funny story, after I had my near death experience. I was dead about 70 seconds because of a breathing tube that came out during surgery. A stop and restart, while doing thyroid cancer surgery caused my little brush with the afterlife. Anyway, I digress.

5 days after the surgery, while still in the hospital, I was online and saw tickets for the group, "The Zombies". Bought the tickets online and when I got out, I looked like a Zombie. I walked into the venue, to pick up my tickets and one of the local music celebrities came out and asked me what had happened? I told him that I just became a Zombie and wanted my Zombies tickets. He let out a roar of laughter, since I was fit for the part after telling my story of how I became one.

I'm a bonded courier, that works on the road across much of Eastern Ontario. I'm up at 5am and on some days, I get off anywhere from 9 to 12 hours....sometimes even longer. I was working like that for 6 days a week, since last Christmas. I finally talked them into a 5 day workweek.....for now! I know about the 4 hours sleeps and sometimes less!!

12-12-2012. Doing OK. Still being screened. Lost my wife to cancer almost 3 years ago and my disabled daughter was just diagnosed with breast cancer. Not a great time right now. I'll survive it....I have faith that it'll work out for the best.

It's called surviving. You have to move on with your life. I went through the dating scene and it was an eye opener. I dated 27 women, in one year......they were all nuts! Being a widower and dealing with jilted women was not a great prospect. Finally settled on one for now.....I just got tired of the psychological b.s. of most of these head cases.

Been through this fire for many years. My late wife had it in 1999 and beat it once. She got 9 more years, before it reappeared and took her. It was a tough last few years of her life and she so wanted it to end. It was a blessing when she passed. I miss her very much because we had been together since we were teens.

I bet my friend 500$ that the Oilers would finish higher than the Leafs

That's easy for the Oilers - the West sucks.
Alot of talk about the West being competitive, but 14 teams in there makes it quite easier to make playoffs (and decide to keep in the playoff race during final stretch).

It's an accomplishment to make playoffs in East.
It's actually an accomplishment to not make playoffs in the West.
