I think they got about 6 shots in the first 25-30 minutes of the game.

They narrowed the gap later but this team needs to play a full 60 minutes. Sounds familiar.

Tampa could be the best team in the east. That being said, Ottawa's intensity and power play is a concern.

Z smith is a great option as a 3rd/ 4th line LW/C but playing him more than 1/3 of the game.

It's pretty simple really. After Karlsson the Sens lack top end talent.

Indeed. The shameful thing is that they did nothing to address the top 6 in the off season knowing MacArthur could go down at any point. And he went down and on his first real hit too. Lack of depth immediately exposed. That being said I think they had a very off night last night and Tampa are a very, very good team. But yeah time on ice for Zack Smith was crazy. I like him but he is not good enough to warrant that much ice time.

Meh, Stone Hoffman Brassard and Ryan really havent done much either. To many big parts of our team struggling early.Ceci is playing a ton of mins and in all sorts of situations that he has probably never played before.I willing to give him some time ,iam sure he will get it

hope you're right. he doesn't seem to be playing much more than last year, with the same sort of role...........hopefully it's just that he's adapting to a new system.

Tough days ahead folks. The leadership will be tested.

I'm concerned with the lack of development of players like Curtis Lazar and Nick Paul. But I'm excited about Francis Perron (3 pts in first 3 AHL games). It's early, I know.

Why ??they arent considered offensive players .They are considered high end grinders that can chip in offensively.Expecting offense out of players like this will just leave you disappointed ,they will get points through hard work and determination not skill and flash
