Not sure what Fowler would do for the Leafs. They already have Gardiner. A talented, puck moving defenseman, who is prone to errors, with questionable hockey sense. Fowler has the same knocks as Gardiner
Besides, what would they need to give up to get Fowler? The Ducks would want Nylander or Marner or a 1st rounder. Gardiner? I'd like to think so, but the Ducks unloaded him three years for reason. Besides he's making $4M so that ain't happening.
I doubt the Leafs make a trade for a player like Fowler at this time. They are much better this year, but better served losing close games and gaining another lottery pick. |
