i remember that isles statistician (forget his name) posted isles record when Leddy not in line up and its not pretty.

Im happy to see Pulock in lineup but its annoying that its as a shoe in. I rather see Pulock in when Leddy is playing. Sedenberg has been good but he has no impact.
If im cappy, I tell pulock I want to see at least 5 shots on net or he not in lineup next game.

I find this sort of reassuring, because Leddy has not been playing well so far this season. (I'm not sure I agree with the theory on the previous thread that this is a ruse to disguise a benching for poor play........although it's certainly true that Cappy doesn't like publicly embarrassing his players.)

Well (frank).

Glad to see Pulock called up and practicing on the 1st PP no less but losing Leddy blows.

Which would prompt him to get his shot blocked and a break away given to the opposition. Great advise and yes I could see crappy doing it.
i would tell the kid I want him to have a shot first mentality however don't force it, take it when its there.

Here's hoping he plays well and pots a couple on the PP. Hard to justify sending his ass down then.

Why would the Islanders be interested in another d-man? To bury Pulock in Bridgeport? Chicago is looking for help up front......but that's the Isles' greatest need, too.

Easy mistake to make.

They shouldn't allow two players with the name Van Riemsdyk to play in the NHL at the same time....

Well then your really gonna get confused as they have a younger brother Brandon who's a true freshman at UNH this year, James and Trevors alma-mater. He's bigger than James and word is he could be better.

Is he a forward? If he's that good, I'll find a way to deal with the confusion...

I'd be talking to the Kings...something like Greiss for Pearson makes sense...both make about the same...

Add to that Bailey and Cappy and they'd surely take the deal.

Couple reasons.

1) Rumored to want to play in an American market. Only has a year left.
2) Rumored to want 6 plus per year. Gotta plan ahead for McDavid's contract.

Im saying instead of Larsson, why didnt they go for Trouba for Hall.

You can't sit out and pick where you want to be traded to. Doesn't work like that. Second of all, you gotta be kidding me planning for McDavid???

No Trouba can't pick where he goes to. But he can decide whether he wants to resign once traded. If he has his heart set on an American club would moving Hall for 1 year of Trouba look better than Hall for 4 years of cost controlled Larsson? I think not.
McDavid's next contract is gonna be (frank)ing expensive. Would you sign with the Oilers for a discount? This is a cap world we live in now and one has to think ahead. McDavid and Draisaitl are gonna need to get paid.
