How has the Sedins/Eriksson line looked so far this season?

Pretty meh...outside of one globetrotters shift against Calgary they've not been noticeable.

Anyone get Winter Classic tickets today? They had a sale to the general public this morning at 10 am.

I had a few friends trying to get tickets, nobody had any luck and tried right at 10. My guess is there were barely any available.

Sounded like tickets were minimal. Plus brokers are going to buy as many as they can. Cheapest seat is 400 on secondary market.

Hossa got his 500th goal tonight. Congrats to him and glad it wasn't in game 1.

Good, hits his last milestone, no reason to play here after this year. Can retire from the NHL and go make more money back home. Enjoy the cap hit Hawks fans!

A couple layers injured so they go to third periods with defensive posturing afraid to lose the game?

Then after the enevitable goal is scored they come on and create numerous chances. But they keep shooting stick side which is Markstrom's best side.

Also both ways but more so against the Blues the refs were terrible int he third. How is that not a call on the Berglund break away?

Yeah, injuries and officiating cost Blues a point. Oh well. Guys could have played better, but didn't suck.

Nice the refs give the game away.

First goaltenders interference uncalled.

Second how in the hell was Henrick not called for hooking Petro there???? Before that Tanev just grabbed and wrapped his arms around Steen or Tarasenko.

But hey their quota was up at the end of the second.

The Sedins all they do is interference, hold and hook to defend. Rarely called. That is disgraceful.

Also why didn't some of the Blues you know go for the change?

I wonder if this is the magic hurt where he sits out the season but comes back for the play offs after the Hawks trade for a guy who would otherwise push them over the cap?

Or the hurt where he retires without cap hit punishment?

This part is really baffling to me. I thought they would have the massive advantage with Sedin pushing it up ice for a chance...figured our 2 fresh guys, soon to be 3 could push it back against tired legs. Ugh. Missing 2 of your top 6 hurts.

Dude I would not listen too closely to the pundits. It is early yet, but decent to good goaltending, a decent balance of veterans and some young players.

As long as injuries don't come to big guys the Nucks should be in most games. If it is close and the Sedins aren't called for interference or hooking should be decent. Could go either way with them. I think with some issues in LA, growing pains in Calgary and Edmonton, along with the Ducks up and down, you have a path to the dance. Heck, teams will play the Hsarks harder this year and that should hurt them.

Yeah. Also having Rattie in a top nine or six role after not playing a game in a few weeks and none in the regular season hurts.

Still why they kept attacking stick side when the numbers are clear he is weak on his glove side is a mystery. On his stickside Markstrom is one of the best in the league. On his glove side he is one of the worst.

The Blues did play well defeinsively, but you will have a tough time winning in the league playing on your heals without pushing pace back the other way.

Why does my ipad keep missing p's and putting instead o's and k's instead of l's?

What is with the score keepers the last two games? Do they know what constitutes a shot on goal?

Sorry but what game were you watching .... seems like a lot of play and shots were in the Blues end. If it wasn't for all them great sticks and blocks it wouldn't have stayed 1-0 for so long till the end.

Plus you guys got lucky on call review ... Luca was skate directing in to the net which was allowed but was taken down at same time having skates go up so they say it was a kick .... gave a Penalty for the taken down as consolation what a crock

Anyway it was a hard fought chess match game .... but this team is not the push over easy win you thought.... huh

I thought the refs did a fantastic job with that goal. Sbisa's foot, whether it was intentional or not, moved forward upon making contact with the puck. The Canucks getting a PP out of it was also a good call. I don't think there was anything lucky about that call at all.
