pasta has been playing well, but fantasy wise backes is worth more.

Winnipeg is a heavy team. Buff is a load to handle. Schaller can probably hang in longer than Czar.

Krug s not going anywhere, that would be a sideways deal imo maybe krug+++for lindholm not trouba, but....I heard that trouba and Fowler are in the talk with boston, but everyone knows this by now?

Maybe I'm a complete idiot. But why isn't Marchand on the first pp unit? Especial with no Bergeron!

I know last year the unit was unreal and we replaced eriksson's presence with Backes. But take away krejci from that unit. Julien wants a second Center behind Bergeron on the top pp unit, and so he has Spooner.

He is a one on one player that takes too many risks for the possession type play needed on the PP.

Watch as he stick handles (which he is great at) as he keeps his head down too much and it prevents him from being a P. Kane type SUPERSTAR as he is lacking the possession and playmaking to be a NHL point scorer.

If he could improve that part of his game he could be CLOSE to Seguin and Kane.

How about Carlo! Was texting my brother, he reminds me of a Johnny Rocket type stay at home D-man that could slowly turn into a top pair guy over time.

I remember you mentioning something like this last year. But he is a good shot, probably the team's best. He should be in the slot for a one timer and keep Bergeron and Krug really controlling the play with Spooner. Backes in front of the net.

Krejci should be making the play on the 2nd unit with Pasta for that one timer and Belesky in front of the net. Chara and Miller on the points.

If not Marchand, then pasta in the first unit at least. Need someone with a shoot first mentality

He's so slow for a guy his size, maybe it's something due to hip surgery but thankfully his hands and instincts make up for it
