Swap Henrique and Hall on those lines. I'm not sure how I feel about them giving up on the Hall-Henrique duo after one game. I thought Santini had a good preseason. I'd probably move Quincy in for Moore and put Santini in on the 3rd pairing with Auvitu. |

I like the switch of DSP and PA. It should pay dividends for that top line |

Always good to see two rookies on the 4th line. |

No, they aren't... - CaptCrankypants
Wouldn't be surprised if AG just made a mistake. He doesn't specifically mention hall and rico being separated (outside of listing the lines) which would be pretty big news in regards to this team. and would certainly warrant AG's opinion on the topic. |

Tampa is also looking to improve their play. Bishop will be better tonight. |

I don't think it's a horrible idea to put Henrique back with Cammalleri, but I don't like keeping Palmieri with those two. |

I'm not a believer that Zajac stirs Palmeri's drink, so I don't mind them being separated. I actually like that 2nd line and think it would get some favorable match ups at home and could really do some damage |

I don't hate the lines as they are, but I think it wouldn't be a bad thing to put together something that resembles a legitimate top line. We'll see how PAP does, but Palms can definitely gives the other team more to think about and can open up more room for Hall. I also wouldn't mind DSP on the second line with Cammy and Henrique then. |

I could definitely get behind that idea. Would be a nice dynamic having halls playmaking ability paired with palms shooting and hard nosed offensive style. |

If Santina is going to be a healthy scratch wouldn't he be better off playing in Albany and let someone like Helgesson sit in the press box?

That line up makes way more sense to me. Smith-Pelly isn't a top 6 winger. Some may feel Parenteau isn't but he drives possession & when given that ice time & opportunity with good players produces & makes them better.
That said I don't see them beating TB. |

I love Zajac and glad he is here, but I think we can all agree he won't top 40 pts prob ever again. Do you think it is a good idea to make him our Madden? He is great defensively so if you give him a shut down role I think he would excel instead of trying to balance offense and defense. |

He's had a shutdown role basically his entire career. He always plays against the other team's top line. |

If Zacha proves himself to be a 2nd line center that's exactly where Zajac will end up as the 3rd line, top PK unit guy, which at this point is fine, his contract isn't preventing the team from spending and let's face it, there's a lot of 3C's out there without the defensive capability of Zajac earning 5 or so million a year. |

Got Fios about a month ago in large part so I can watch Devils games in HD on my big TV no problem. Just had the realization Fios is one of the few providers that doesn't have MSG+2 in HD. Guess I'll be watching a hand full of these games in SD
At least we're winning. |
