If any of you need reasonably priced pairs of tickets to Blues games (good upper bowl seats), pm me. I may be able to help.

Stastny was born in Quebec City, but lived in St. Louis as a kid when his dad was in the organization. Therefore, he has dual-citizenship and can choose which country to play for during international competition. Shattenkirk is the only American-BORN player on the roster.

I think Allen is fine.

If he misses any time, it will only be a game or two. Taken out early as a precaution as there wasnt any reason to push it in the preseason.

Ready for the season to start!

Well, no because he chose the United States. He grew up in the St. Louis hockey system. So accuartely he was developed in the United States. I know where he was born. But thanks guy. I played some hockey with his brother, so I kind of have an idea.

I heard that as well. I am getting concerned with all the concussions, especially as more medical inofrmation comes out about them.

I hope the Blues aren't letting him play even a little injured.

Are the Blues still holding open practices? Anyone see Yak? So curious to see what Perron and he look like together...

Holy crap! Kucherov buckled. Well, because the NHL GMs are worthless colluding butt holes. No one had the balls to offer sheet him and force Tampa to trade without leverage? No one? You have got to be kidding me.

I do not care if the Blues did it and then Tampa offer-sheeted Fabri, because in the world of trades who wouldn't trade Kucherov for Fabbri at this point? I guess the Blues have tons of wingers and all, but only one so far with Kucherov's ability and that goes doubly for his play off performance, which alone should have shot him into the six million dollar plus range.

No, but I will let you know after the game tomorrow night

Just remember to be patient with expectations for this kid. He has more to offer than MPS but was also brought into the NHL too soon, then used incorrectly and so is likely missing some confidence. You can hear it in hs interview answers. Compare his recent answers to his first two seasons and that huge goal scoring celebration in his rookie year.

That third line will be an interesting thing. You have the slower Berglund who likes to hold onto the puck and curl off the boards or from down low with a psuedo power move. You have Perron, who has gotten better moving the puck, but likes to hold onto the puck and look for openings and a wicked shot. Berglund also has a good shot. And Yakupov who has speed to burn and a wicked shot. He plays fast. His game is much more well rounded than many know, especially that idiot Gordon who was mentioning his plus/minus on the Oilers. His Corsi was positive last year. Berglund typically, though I did not look at last years, has positive possession numbers. I would suspect Perron also can but the Penguins time might have hurt that. So if Yakupov can fetch pucks on the forecheck and move to open seems and crashes the net then he will have a chance to score a lot of goals.

I would suspect Hitch will try to teach him to be a penalty killer, because that kind of speed with the way the Blues like to prssure the puck on the penalty kill will force the points hands and should result in at least short handed opportunities, though the Blues typically do not take those chances instead try to play out the clock and focus on disrupting the opposing power play.

I project the Blues will try to work this kid up and one should not truly start to judge his game until February. Rebuilding his conifdence will be key.
