Like it even mattered how Mantha and AA played. They were getting sent down no matter what because of how cluttered the roster is with vets. Same old poop just a different year. The only difference is Blashill is using different things to say the same things that Babcock did with his " Tie goes to the vets " even if it wasn't even a tie. Holland had the roster set in the summer no matter what the youngsters did in camp and the only thing that could have changed that are injuries.

I wish they would stop with this BS thinking that the fans are idiots and buy this crap. We all knew the roster was set in July and Mantha/AA (or any other youngsters for that matter) were not part of it barring injuries in camp.

No surprise. Well at least Grand Rapids will be good this year.

Normally I would pay attention to camp but this year it was pretty obvious that the camp was a complete waste of everyone's time. Another pre season dominated by a younger team just in time to ship everyone down. Most rankings have the wings finishing about 20-25 in the league, it would be interesting to see a game between the wings and griffins. I actually think the griffins would win?

Grand Rapids might win. Seriously. Mantha, Athanasiou, Bertuzzi, Coreau would all make this team better right now. Svechnikov and Russo aren't far behind. But instead we get to watch washed up has beens like Miller, Vanek and Ott block them. Ericsson is a complete joke on the blue line and Howard cant stop a beach ball. But hey, Ken Holland knows best, right?
