So dumped Seidenberg for erhoff... maybe if Vhara or Mcquaid wasn't in the picture, but Erhoff essentially makes Carlo making the team impossible and morrow and/or chiller being the press box boys.

How about that Heinen though? He seems like a solid guy to make the team.

If Sweeney wanted a pylon, he should've just signed Quincey.

Ehrhoff was really good for the Pens prior to his concussion. I know he had a rough year in LA, but I liked him as a player and think he's still got something to prove. This could be a serious diamond in the rough for you guys .

I liked Ehrhoff when the Hawks had had him...and actually played him.

Unfortunately, he found himself in the middle of the (rumored) conflict between Q and Bowman/front office, where apparently Q didn't want to play the guys Bowman traded for. Who knows. Wiese (whose game I'm a big fan of) was another casualty of that whole thing...

But, Ehrhoff is a good skater and has a nice shot from the point. He could be a nice lower pair pick up for the Bruins--probably a league minimum deal, too. So it's worth it.

Meh. Seems like the message is loud and clear coming from the front office. "We don't believe the kids are ready."

I guess we will see if ehrhoff and Mueller get contracts

We're so heavy on the left side already. I'm thinking Don moves some parts and picks to the Ducks for a top tier puck mover. I'd like to see Lindholm coming back but it will probably be Fowler.
In all reality, I would bet dollars to doughnuts Don gets (frank)ed again and trades Spoons, and K. Miller for Bieska and Boll.

He'd have to send two dmen though, and idk if he would do that? Or if ducks would take two dmen

Seriously speaking, the Ducks are loaded for bear on the back end so I don't see them wanting a defenseman in return. Getz, Perry and Kessler aren't getting any younger so I'm inclined to believe that Murray asks for Spoons, Debrusk and /or picks. Who knows? This might be a good chance to get some value for Koko as well. I originally tossed out K. Miller as a trade chip only because of his Cali roots. I actually like the player, but his compete level far out weighs his skill set, and I wish both were a little more even. He will suprise this year but he needs a couple hundred more games under his belt.

I'd definitely take him back on a cheap deal. He'd be great as your 6th or 7th guy.

Well Mueller is gone. Zboril and Senyshyn both didnt cut it. This time around. Looks like they are taking long looks at DeBrusk and Carlo.

Does anyone believe the "trouba for Krug ++" rumors? Doesnt make much sense to me after signing Krug to his first big contract.

It clickbait and terrible clickbait at that. Trouba is essentially pulling a Hamilton/Turris/Wheeler. I would still rather have Hamilton.

EDIT: Also Krug has been good for us. A) why give up on him and B) At least send him somewhere good. Not (frank)ing Winnipeg

Does anyone else believe that Krug has kind of accomplished more than Trouba. I think the potential is there, and would do a 1 for 1 swap, but people are saying Krug + Pasta, or Krug + Zboril + a pick. I think for an RFA with high hopes of a high contract who doesn't have much of any notches on his belt these demands are crazy. I also don't think sending away our arguably best Dman for an unproven top pairing Dman makes us any better.

It didnt make sense to me either. Now if its a McQuaid or K.miller + prospect + pick, that might be a different story. But I doubt that looks very appealing to any team.

A lot more. Just start with the fact that Krug was undrafted and Trouba was/is supposed to a franchise defensemen. I don't really don't see how it's an improvement if Trouba doesn't reach his potential and if he demands big dollars. Do we want underachievers wrecking salary cap here?

The Bruins need a top pairing guy. Trouba is not the answer. Looks we're waiting out a kid to develop or for another team to (frank) up like Ottawa did with Chara.

They're not trading Krug. All I'll say on that.
