First.
I thought if you looked at the last 6 periods of hockey team Europe was the best team by a considerable margin.
Just didn't have the talent to put away the Nucks I guess.
I find hockey strange that a team can clearly play better in almost every way but still end up losing. |

Posted this in the other blog earlier:
Not sure if anyone else has seen it, but Patrick O'Sullivan made an excellent suggestion. He suggested before this stacked group of Canadians age too much (Within the next 2-3 years) they should have a "Ryder Cup" style hockey series. Canada vs The World in a 7 game Series. I think that would be absolutely amazing to watch, and Canada is currently so stacked, I believe that's the only way to give this group of guys a true challenge. |

Mike Babcock is the only coach to capture a Stanley Cup, World Cup, World Championship, World Junior Championship, and Olympic gold medal, all by the age of 53. A true milestone! |

Pff, O'Sullivan said that on Twitter on the 27th, I said it on Tanner's blog on the 25th. Clearly O'Sullivan is stalking me.
Or it's an idea lots of people have had.
Whatever.
Meh.

What about Perry, Bergeron and Toews? |

I think that is meant as "reigning champ"... current holder of those titles. |

Got it. This would have been true for Toews in 2010 and Bergeron in 2011.
But, what about this claim - "Team Canada has now won 26 straight games with him in the lineup.
"
Please elaborate. |

That's a considerable overstatement. |
