Funny how you don't mention the questionable call on Doughty which gave Europe a PP which led to the GWG by Marchand (shorthanded) started by a great play by Toews. Not that Youre biased against Team Canada though.

the only thing positive that will come out of this tournament is Kruger getting another shot at a job in the nhl .

Even the announcers were going on and on about Marchand's goal but that was all Toews. What a great play by a clutch player.

No quotes.

High stick call on Doughty was warranted. The (only) angle they showed the replay from made it hard to see, but I thought I saw his stick rebound off the helmet and change direction a little.
Johnny T is unreal!!! My choice for MVP. Canada had some scoring issues at times (see PP), but with him checking the opposition's top scorer, it made things a lot easier on the scoreboard!

I thought it was a follow through on a clearing attempt, and those aren't supposed to be penalties, but whatever

The commentator's mentioned that and I thought they were correct in that he missed the puck with his clearing attempt. If he had made contact, I think you would be right.

Carey Price had no chance at winning MVP Ek.

He's so good, he makes it look too easy.

I thought Bergeron should have been named MVP imo, what a player!

Who won MVC? Most valuable Corsi? Shea Weber?

Crosby was a good choice for MVP. Canada averaged 4 goals a game and Sid was in on 42% of them.

Price wasn't tested until the last two games. He was great last night and the only reason they had a chance to win. Anyone from that #1 line was worthy of MVP but Sid or Marchand was the right choice. Anyone who says that call on Kopitar was questionable is crazy (Gaborik).

Canada's D looked abysmal last night. The big red turnover machine. Everyone of them guilty of terrible passes. I also didn't see the great Babcock adjust his coaching to the style of game Europe was playing. His response was to change one line! Almost as if everyone gives him way too much credit for coaching a team of superstars.

This is the problem of being Canada's goaltender... you can't really win.

If you win, people will say it was easy because you know... you're playing for Canada.

If you lose, you lose big time because you couldn't even pull it off with such a great team.

But yeah, Halak was great, always been a good goalie.

Yes. He was asked about Vegas and said he is committed to his job over there.

Eklund: Canada’s late comeback wins the World Cup
- Eklund

Ek is a Flyers fan so he just doesn't like Crosby. Crosby was the unanimous choice. He was simply dominant the entire tournament. Marchand had a few goals but Crosby took over this tournament.

Yes. EKs Anti-Crosby bias continues...
