Out of all the players heading back to the A Devils, i think Lappin has a chance of breaking camp with the team, if he can keep on impressing. A little bit of insecurity seeing DSP with fiddler but at the end of the day, DSP will be rotated and placed where he fits best, whether thats with hall/henrique or on the 4th line maybe scoring with fiddler. Fiddler can put some goals in net for a 4th line guy. Back to lappin, he seems to have good puck possesion and a scoring touch to be considered for 1st line RW if DSP comes out slow out of the gate

Looks like Rangers are dressing 1 regular line for each pre season game, but since Vesey is in the line up its like having 4 regular lines and our starting goalie.

When I heard he was going back to high school after he was drafted I thought he'd be lucky to play an AHL game. I like his in your face style. Definitely need some more snarl on the team.

Bennett has been terrible.

Puck has been going through Wedgewood all night long and the puck refuses to stay in his glove. Not a good showing.

Urg. Well they lost, but it was a pretty entertaining preseason game. Wedgewood made some great saves. Wood was fun to watch and was rewarded for his hard work. Lappin was not as impactful as I had hoped on the first line, but still made some waves. You can see bennet has some skill but is pretty gun shy. It is what it is, was a preseason game. Mcleod had a few looks also. Vesey looks like he will be a pain in our ass.
