Anything on the Trouba kid? We seem to have a lot of older, mediocre d men... hard to imagine we'd pass on possibly getting this kid. I honestly don't see the anything special about Skjei and they say Jets want a left d in return. Girardi looked terrible the other night and I'm not expecting much from Klein. Really need to start rebuilding back end. Having McIlwrath, Clendening and Trouba on right and say Mac, Holden and Staal on left gives us more size and youth. Tired of teams beating us up in our own end. Need to move some forwards as well.

Hank hasn't even gone on the ice yet at practice for us since returning from the WCoH. I think he starts skating on Saturday.

I love the idea of Trouba, the Rangers couldn't do it without sending some salary back to the Jets though.

BTW boys, going to Disney for 5 days with the family starting tomorrow. Catching a 7am flight out of Newark, got to get the kids up at 4AM.

Would love to ship Nash of course but not likely. Klein I thought could be one cause he has a few years left on his deal & at reasonable money, not that we want to deal him, but he was the logical guy we could lose & other teams would want. Now with Yandle & Boyle gone, probably not.

A piece of advice from a man that raised 4 kids, if I may. Keep them awake until tonight, then feed them a couple spoons of Benadryl around 9:00. They'll sleep all the way. Then again, you have to carry them at that point. Could backfire.
