Good Blog Lucas. Thanks.
Looking forward to watching Marner but also Neilsen and Rychel.
(I'm still hoping to see a Rychel, Matthews, Marner line at some point....feel like it is the perfect combo of players ie: Tchachuk, Dvorak, Marner, and if it quickly gels the way I expect than they will all have instant success.)

Its too bad in preseason they only play the sens, habs, barfalo and wings.
It would be nice in preseason if they could play teams they rarely play.
but travel etc |

Yep, the Canucks deny the need for a rebuild plan is where the smart money is these days. |

Bunch of tickets for Leafs Red Wings pre-season in Hamilton for 35 bucks. We should get a crew out and cause a ruckus |

It's a "stealth" rebuild, when you finish 3rd & 5th last in a three year span you're rebuilding but won't admit it or ownership won't allow it.
Regardless….hopefully your Jays get into the playoffs and win some games. |

yeah I know, they try to keep the travel to a minimum, seems they are trying to please some of the fan base though playing out east and Saskatoon. |

Rychel probably needs time with the marlies … learn the system, get the stink of Columbus off him etc.

Umm
Yes they are.
almost 30 games above .500 92-64...last year they finished only 14 games above.
Playing much better as a team. - Fakepartofme
Looking at a team record is not enough imo to conclude that
RD and everything I look at tells me they are are getting some luck
Scored 740 runs, Allowed 729 runs. Pythagorean W-L: 79-77
The Jays are right about where you would expect them
Scored 738 runs, Allowed 642 runs. Pythagorean W-L: 87-68
these are the WS winning teams run differential since 2007

The Jays are fine. They simple needed this series win and a couple more wins to ensure they have home field and are able to get they pitcher they want set up to play the WC.
They need to guarantee their WC spot prior to the last series...so they can set up their ptiching for the season.
This series win brings them closer to that.
As for Texas, meh on the run differential, theyre winning games in different ways (meaning not relying on one thing pitching etc)...thats all that matters for now. |
