So close to seeing the kids in action. Lindblom off to a hot start. From what I saw last year I'd expect him to be in the top 9 group for he flyers at some point next year. A lot of hard to find tools

Thinking about Trouba this am.

Specifically Flyers trade Sanheim for Trouba, and Winnipeg gets Amac in the deal too.
Likely they have to retain some salary on Amac.
Winnepeg gets a #4-5 NHL left handed ready to play D man and a top prospect D guy in return. Gets rid of the Trouba headache. Flyers accelerate their rebuild and get a top 4 right handed young Defenseman, lose the Amac contract and give up a potential very good offensive Dman in Sanheim.

Am I crazy?
Probably no chance here but I would love this.

I imagine the Jets value Trouba higher than Sanheim. And with that Amac contract, the Flyers would probably have to put a 3rd in there to make them think about it.

Of course, if he really is a headache, maybe they take it without a draft pick. Who knows.

I couldn't care less who wins this tournament, but I'm finding it remarkable the NHL's leading scorer inner the last five years doesn't have a spot on this squad. It's gotta' be infuriating for him. All I want now is for him to start the season on (frank)ing fire and be a great captain.

Oh, and I hope Canada loses. Even if it means CSP gets a trophy.

Trouba is interesting but I personally don't want to give up any of our young defensive prospects to fast track for anything until we're sure that things can't or won't work out someway. The only way I'm trading Morin, Sanheim, Provorov, Myers, Konecny or Rubtsov is for a potential Giroux replacement one day at forward.

There's too many players to all play this early on....so every player/prospect gets some game action.

Clarke MacArthur, who missed all of last year with pretty severe post concussion syndrome, finally is ready to play again....and today got blindside boarded on a dirty hit by some AHL goon scrub. It was just a Sens v Sens scrimmage too. Now he's concussed again and, after the nightmare he went through to get back, who knows if he can even continue with his career. People are (frank)ing sick.

It was Bobby Ryan who instantly reacted and went after the goon. So a little scrub on scrub action there...
