My thought with Wedgewood-Kinkaid, is if all things being equal like waiver status and play in the pre-season...do you choose the proven backup or higher potential? Is there even cause for concern with passing a goalie thorough waivers? Without an injury, are teams actually needing a #2 right now?

Blandisi . DSP as possible linemates for Hall/Henry

Who's the proven backup and who has the higher potential?
Kinkaid was all over the place last year so I don't view him as reliable backup and Wedgewood only played a handful of games. God forbid anything happen to Schneider I don't really have faith in either of these guys to carry the load... but if I had to I'd go with Wedgewood.

The over/under on the Cammi-Zacha-Bennett line is 5 games until there is a major injury. But until that happens put JJ on the third line and move Cammi up to the top 2. I know it's old school but try to get two offensive lines going before thinking of pushing talent down the third....

Love the fact that the fourth line isn't some combination of gionta-ruutuu-tootoo-farnham. The fact that the 4th line may actually have NHL caliber players shows the improvement of this team. Now if we can find a sucker to give us a bag of pucks for josefson the rebuild will be complete.

Wedgewood had quite the coming out party last year. After losing faith in him for a few seasons, he seemed to finally turn the page. It was great to see him get a win in his 1st game and then shutout the Pens in his 2nd. gave me the feels.

may the best goalie win. I'd rather Wedgewood start or split the season in Albany as opposed to play 10 games in NJ, but if Kinkaid isn't cutting it.. we gotsta do what we gotsta do.
