I don't even have to look I assume Ward/Lack is the obvious answer here.

The Finns make the most so it has to be Lehtonen Niemi.
They're both so good they were both the #1 all the way through the playoffs.

I think Frenchie hit the best tandems, but I disagree on the order

Not sure how Bishop/Vas isn't the best tandem. Frenchy put it the right way, if you're looking at true backups who you only need to play 15 - 20 games, fine. But Bishop/Vas and Murray/Fleury are legit 1a 1b goalies that could likely play 60 games each if given the opportunity.

Bishop/Vasy and Murray/MAF are better than some of those mentioned without question.

Right.
That's why when Price went down last year your team barely won another game. I don't remember EVER seeing a team so heavily effected by one injury. That is the epitome of a tandem NOT being strong.

I would compare losing Lundqvist for a significant period of time to what happened with Price.

Bishop and Vas or Murray & Fleury, zero argument for any other case.

Montoya was in Florida last season with Luongo,,,, How'd that duo end the season...

I'll agree that Price/Montoya is strong.

Bishop/Vas, MAF/Murray and Mason/Neuvy are all also good choices.

You know you got something good going when you have 10 million + tied up in two guys who would be backups on 90% of NHL teams.

Tampa and/or Pens. Both goalies could be #1 on most teams.

Not having the best goalie in the world (Price) in this list is funny.

Price Montoya are up there in the top 3.
