Paul, always an interesting perspective.
While waiting for my son to finish training a couple of weeks back I was sitting within earshot of a young referee getting graded from a supervisor before a female minor hockey tournament.
Interestingly she was not only pointing out some minor issues (conditioning was one), she was teaching her about foot placement to optimize vision on the ice and the emotions that will potentially be part of the next game.
It was really good to hear because the better the game is called, the better the game! |
