also I dont think you would have gotten a pick anyways. this is an AHL poaching not NHL. Almost every AHL coach has an NHL coaching out clause in their contracts.

Glad to see him only because he earned his first chance to be an NHL head coach. Likely he will do a great job in Colorado with a better team than in Columbus, because some believe he would have been hired to replace Coach Tortorella if or when he is fired.

I just hope the FO finds the right new coach for the Monsters.
