Maybe I'm missing something but wouldn't FL be better off just buying out Bolland and keeping Lawson Crouse? Kid seems like a pretty good prospect...

do you even read what you write? bolland MIGHT be an upgrade over john scott, and that's about it. he's a terrible player....he's averaging about 30 GP and 10pts per season over the last 4 years.....he's about as useless a player as there is in the NHL.

vermette, by comparison, makes half as much, averages twice as many games and 3 times as many points.

all that aside, this is still an okay deal for the yotes.....but an equally good deal for the panthers.

Hes an average prospect, if he hits his potential hes a good 2nd line player, but safety net hes at least a 3rd line big body winger.

His offensive output isnt as good as it should be based on his draft position. Still a good guy to have in the system

Buyout period is over. Crouse isn't very good. FL frees up cap space for Huberdeau's next contract and Ekblad's huge contract. Also gives them more flexibility for trades.
